Kelleher Group at the University of Illinois

Our laboratory has thrusts in four main areas: custom instrumentation for Fourier-Transform Mass Spectrometry (FTMS), Proteomics, Enzymology, and Solution-Phase Hydrogen/Deuterium Exchange. The research uses primarily Electrospray Ionization (ESI) with FTMS to search for novel post-translational modifications and to study the mechanisms of large enzymes with covalently-bound intermediates.
